Just my observation since all I seem to do is fly in and out of IAH on the 175. For whatever reason, Mesa always seems to have a plenty of 175's sitting on the ramp being unused. I dont know why we keep doing more flights outta of there and they seem to be stagnant.
This "short" term flying that others claim, has been going on for over a year now and keeps growing. Other 175 operators are gone so I guess we are filling the void whether its permanent or temporary who knows. The original rumor of OO 175 flying outta IAH was because Mesa had staffing issues which led to delays and cancelations. It was supposed to be a temporary (September 2019 to January 2020) coverage by OO. I don't know what changed and why it continues.
I suspect that as far as a 175 base for IAH won't happen for awhile or atleast until the industry sees a turn around. I would also suspect that if and when it happens, it will open like Minneapolis did or they will just open some reserve lines just to have that coverage. For now, the flying appears to be easily covered by DEN and ORD.

Don’t worry, he/she/they(?) is not even half a “melit” or a quarter “mpet” and won’t keep up. “Broken” is a execellent handle of someone returning after Rick banned them.
Now, we can all watch for a reply, it will probably occur in about 8-10 hours. Could be longer, time will tell!
