Mesa's IAH 175's are moving to IAD - not all but more than just 20 replacing the 700s - so there's room for more 175s in IAH.

IAH will turn just like MSP did.
I would put money on the CRJ’s being placeholders until more 175’s come into the system from Brazil.
We had massive extra CRJ staffing/equipment not being utilized and it was a easy to activate those assets to fill the gaps.
175’s will come in and start taking the long(er) routes from the CRJ.
This will stabilize the IAH CRJ staffing, and allow for the balancing of the 100’s of ERJ transitioned pilots.
(85 lines/15reserves in Den with 150 pilots per seat in domicile)
There are currently 25+ departures a day on 175’s with that number continuing to grow.
Once this is all in full swing, it will be time to do the same thing to DFW. This was already announced last year to be completed in 2021.
The entire industry is moving in this direction.
