Future of CRJ

Delta cut back on CRJ200 operations pretty heavily, but United seems to have picked up most of it, and Skywest is still taking delivery of 700s (afaik), so we won’t be a E-175 only airline like Republic anytime soon it seems. Question is, what will happen to seniority and bases long term?

It doesn’t matter what airline or equipment, DEN will be senior.

Denver isn’t really senior anymore. Obviously Covid changed a lot of things but going forward it looks to be more of the same. Unless governments continue to suppress travel, then all bets are off.

Denver just became one of our most junior bases on both equipment. With the decline of DTW and MSP, our updated most junior base is ORD. Texas bases in the last couple of years suddenly have gone junior as well.
