Does it make sense for a new hire to get hired on the CRJ with the majority of skywest fleet being crj200s which will largely be phased out in the near future?

Yes, absolutely it makes sense. CRJ's are not going away anytime soon.

50 200s got pulled from the delta system. They absolutely will be gone in the next 5 years

N437SW, N437SW, N900EV, N468CA, N440SW,
N443SW, N913EV, N912EV, N452SW, N453SW, etc etc etc all rocking fresh United paint despite having Delta paint in March of 2020.
