Rumor mill I heard: Skywest as a pathway for Destination 225 participants.

R-ATP from the SWA college programs go to Skywest at 1000 hours then flow to SWA after 1000 turbine or a couple of years. Or SWA CFI’s that get 1500 hours but don’t have 1000 turbine.

That was an age old CPZ rumor for years. Announcement was always a Friday away.

Zero talk of SKW doing regional flying or zero talk of a flow program?

SAPA reps aren't sworn to secrecy... sometimes they divulge things from their meetings. Zero talk... maybe because you don't talk to your fellow crew members. Ya it's a rumor, if you want something you can take to court, wait for the company to publish it instead of sifting through a forum consisting of what people have heard out on line. I heard rumors that the 175 was going into Aspen when I was in CQ last time. They sure missed the ski season this year!

Seems like a conflict of interest to bleed the experienced pilots away to the number one competitor of the legacy three. The pilots who might not otherwise be inclined to leave.

They are doing tests to bring in the 175 there, if it will happen, no one knows. Seems to be an issue to the missed approach. I thought the problem would be the balked landing, but it seems that the 13DME from DBL is the bigger issue on the missed. However look at your jepp and you'll see an RNAV M (RNP) approach in there, so there is still hope.
