I am learning that a lot of things get blown out of proportion on here. Us noobs can easily get worked up based on the things constantly being posted here. I've learned to read between the lines and realize that a sizable amount is not true while also realizing there are some really good nuggets of advice too.

Anybody able to update on the OE situation re: backups?

Having a month long delay in start date due to family issues and got switched from CRJ to ERJ. Familiar with the supposed 9-12 week backlog on OE for the CRJ, but how's the ERJ looking? Any major backups?

In the CRJ Training thread, someone reported a couple of days ago that IOE for the ERJ is currently a 2-3 week wait. Always subject to change of course.

Hey guys!! Looking to fly the ERJ.
Just curious about the following:

A footprint how long till LOE? Read somewhere it’s 7 weeks?
Written test or tests along the way in training? (Indoc, systems etc)
An oral test?
How has the training been in your experience pros/cons?
How many sims till LOE?
Heard a rumor and just want to confirm- is it true you only have a day to know how to work the FMS?

Anybody have any feedback on taking Paris for sims? Seems cool but I can see some drawbacks

Hi,
I just found out that my trip to ATP/CTP location, which was supposed to be tomorrow, has been cancelled.
Of course it's Saturday and nobody is picking up the phone.
Is there a phone number I can call which actually works on Saturdays?

Thanks,
C.

Edit: Just found the emergency travel center number and fixed the problem. Thanks!
