So you probably don’t want to hear about my friend who left 135 for an LCC whom big D hired out of training…

These companies owe none of us anything.

Although it may be unfair, I’m hearing of these things occurring too

Btw, shout out to ever did this.

Name a company that won't reflow you.

And if you think going to an ULCC to get to Delta…. good fing luck. Step one was temp metering from her regionals. What do you think the ole’ girl does to those who left her regionals for a yellow bus when they show up on the front door after these couple months of madness is over.
The loyal WILL get rewarded. I get tired of hearing how a 135/frontier pilot will get to delta before me. They’ve never logged in to flight family once. Ahem, ahem Delta management.

Still- PAY YOUR FREAKING CA CC!!! They are the blood in the veins of your Air Force. Open the checkbook.

Loyal to who?? You guys fly for 4 (?) airlines? A major like delta probably values you getting through another type rating like the 320 more than your extended service to Skywest.

There’s a reason they call Spirit the Pre-United training center. Go take a look at their forum and see how many people are leaving to majors right after IOE.

am I the only newly trained FO enjoying getting paid to to do nothing / jumpseat every week or two? I worked like 2-3 other jobs while flight instructing to get to ATP mins, plenty of ways to make money in this time of record low unemployment. enjoy the extra $1200 every two weeks

People have different mindsets. We are in the biggest hiring period the industry has ever seen. Right now many would like to be flying, building hours and trying to get to their career airline.

learn to enjoy the journey, because once you get to the destination, there will be another new goal / destination, and another one and another. and then you're old and you die

Bravo. Mostly everyone here complaining about not being able to do IOE will be complaining when they’re on the line “working too hard” at the bottom of a market cycle. Go live a life while you can!
