Not saying they shouldn’t be able to, just saying he mentioned it was 5 full trips with LCAs and going on a 6th one. Seems like that’s possibly 5-6 LCAs not being utilized which is a lot with the shortage of them already

update, I did get displaced at the last minute on this weeks trip. But yea. did work five trips with LCAs since January ish...

I can understand why LCA's wouldn't want to do IOE. It's a lot of work. I did one IOE trip after waiting for 14 weeks (LOE first week of January) and the rest got pulled until further notice. It's a bummer.
My concern is I've already gotten 18 hours in the jet (50 is the max to do a line check, before special tracking I believe?) so I just hope I retain the progress I made so far on that first trip

Don’t worry about the hour caps. In an environment like this, they’re going to do everything they can to keep you on track and get you signed off. Even if you were to have a second trip back-to-back, each LCA will have a slightly different way of approaching things that makes you feel as though you’re still on the learning curve (and you will be until about a year on the line).
