Mistake on my Pria, who do I call?

Hello! I left SkyWest two years ago and not that I'm getting ready to interview, I requested and received a PRIA from my previous employers. Skywest put a code on my Pria that is definitely incorrect and I'd like to get them to fix it without getting lawyers involved. Does anyone have any suggestions on who yo contact? Thanks

This is actually pretty darn common, anyone considering leaving OO should get your PRIA data annually (soon after recurrent) and QA it. If there's something you don't understand, ask.

This is another reason to stay far away from SkyWest Airlines. If they’re not conspiring with their partners to prevent SkyWest pilots leaving to better pastures they’re backstabbing them on the way out by waiting the full 30 days to send over the PRIA paperwork and “accidentally” falsifying pilot records.

Not a good look for SGU. Thankfully I did not have to deal with any PRIA paperwork falsifications on the way out. They did take their sweet time sending over the requested PRIA paperwork.

The regionals seriously need to die.

You and many other had no experience or ability before being babied in the right seat. The pilots who came before did a lot of real six pack hand flying then to be exploited by commuters only to be furloughed. Today it is a great job for people with or without experience. Ask anyone on the outside of the regionals looking to be in. You hit a sweet spot.

This. What a crappy and narcissistic attitude. “I went to the regionals, got hired at a ULCC and now I’m at Delta, regionals should die.” Be humble about how you got where you are and realize there are hundreds of pilots out there with differing situations. Don’t dump on them because you think some how you’ve “reached the top.”

I said the regionals needed to die when I worked for skywest for years. Will it happen? No. But they have treated people like garbage.

I worked hard, got lucky and was fortunate enough to move on. I still miss the crews but I have absolutely zero respect for SkyWest Inc and management.

I also still help friends to get started there. I just tell them to respect the prime directive: get out.

Just because we worked there formerly doesn’t make it hypocritical to not love the company.

I will concede that it is rude to trash skywest in your forum, but it isn’t hypocritical.

For OP. I dont have any numbers. I would start calling training if you still have any contacts there and see if you can get the email or number for pilot records.

I seem to recall something like this a couple years ago on the fb life after page, and someone posted the email for pilot records. Good luck!

Who am I dumping on other than SkyWest Inc. intentionally waiting a month to send PRIA records then when they finally send them they’re falsified either intentionally or unintentionally risking the employment of the pilots who departed.

I hope the regionals die so nobody has to waste their career with terrible work rules. That’s not narcissistic, you’re just some ticked off guy/gal in the training department that bought a house you can only afford on training department pay and now your $hitting bricks.

The ULCC’s are hiring CFI’s now. They need to replace the regionals so our future generation of pilots have better work rules and pay then we did.

I’m not in the training department. And I have offers at AA and SWA, I’m just defending the pilots that are still at OO that have differing situations that may not have the same attitude that “regionals need to die and we need to get out.”

Your situation may have worked, but hundreds of other pilots have so many other factors to think about. Don’t place a blanket statement over it because it describes your situation. This attitude is so typical in today’s culture.

You’d feel the same way if you were still at OO and someone told you to get out. I guarantee you’d plead your personal situation.
