I am almost the most junior RJ pilot in SLC. Coming up on 3.5 years at Skywest. I hate to say it but I wouldn't count on SLC soon at all. I hope I am wrong. There are still Brasilia first officers that were seat locked before I was hired that are trying to transition to the RJ in SLC. They will go ahead of everybody including me. I have held roughly the same seniority number in SLC for 3 years. In other words, Nobody junior to me has been awarded SLC in that long even though some senior folks have.

I was hoping that with SEA and PDX some FOs would move out, which they did, but it seems some of our SLC lines may have gone with them. Onc year to get SLC is optimistic. Also, they have been telling guys in training to expect about 18 months to upgrade. I was told 11 months to 1.5 years and here I am more than 3 years later on reserve. Things just change too fast.

How long would it take a new FO to get TUS, COS, and DEN. I am surprised SLC is more senior for FOs than DEN.

You could probably get COS fairly quickly. DEN and TUS will take quite a bit longer.

I think that SAPA graph needs some work. Here's what I see from the company website and the most recent bid awards for the junior FO in each domicile. Senior to Junior:

SFO
LAX
PDX
SEA
PSP
DEN
TUS
FAT
SLC
COS
IAH
ORD
MSP

ORD/COS/IAH are all very close to each other. Not sure COS will stay that way as smaller domiciles are always a crapshoot for seniority progression. SLC/FAT/TUS are also real close to each other, but FAT and SLC have brasilia FOs waiting to transition. I doubt anyone junior gets in for at least a few more months.

I have a different version of a similar question here. I got the 120 hoping to upgrade quickly because I have all the requirements. Anyone have any guesses on how long this may take and if it would happen in one of my two preferences of FAT or SBP?

Four years so far, still can't hold Emb captain in any base. I'm hoping another two years and maybe I can hold a ca spot somewhere, be it bro or jet.

Sorry to be the bearer or bad news man.
