I heard the lines are going to increase again in IAH slightly. I think it'll come a lot sooner than 6 months as a new higher.

Default What is the chance of getting SFO for newhire

I wanted to ask I actually live in sfo and wanted to know if hired would I be able to get sfo out of training and if so how long would the reserve be. I imagine it would be long, How long would it be to hold a line in sfo right out of training on the 175

CRJ is pretty junior in SFO. I could hold a line there easy and I'm 10 months in

I certainly would not leave SKW for F9, at least not until they're done getting bought and traded by people who view them as a wealth-extraction target of opportunity.

It would take ten years to get my income level back.

If you're a junior SKW FO and can get hired by F9, then it would be worth it for the bus type. Senior FO? I'd probably stay and upgrade for the TPIC.

Most junior DOH SFO FO:
E175: Jan, 15;
CRJ: ..a whole 1 week earlier than the 175 person, end of Dec 2014

Keep in mind the first two months after hire (at minimum) are training.

I transitioned in July and bid 45% in MSP. I took the first transition of the EMB that I could hold.

Aero Crew Solutions has created a FREE pilot hiring magazine called Aero Crew News. Every month we try to spotlight a major airline and a regional airline. Spirit Airlines and SkyWest Airlines are our spotlight airlines for the month of May. We conducted an in-depth interview with SkyWest's VP of Flight Operations.

To read the magazine articles visit: Aero Crew News You can also subscribe to the magazine if you wish.

Congratulations! You've been hired at NoDues Airlines! Pay? Eff it! Vote in the new pay package pronto (free pay for those hired prior to April 30th)! The captain sitting next to you? His family doesn't need extra pay, but you sure do! We all know how hard it is spending eight months sitting next to a fake news reporter telling people how bad the traffic is. Lucky you, (what an opportunity!), to sit next to the next Brooke Baldwin flown by the next Ho Lee Fuk. SFO? Have it! Please tell your captain the hardships you endured waiting for a slot to fly at home; the horrors of commuting for 2 months!

Fwiw, every single first year FO I know of (myself Included) has voted NO to this pay package
