And just like that. 4 year upgrade. I think it'll hover at 4 years for awhile though. Lots of seniors holding out for west coast bases or line holding.

It may settle down to 3 years at last unless there's more flying that we don't know of.

Nothin wrong with optimism, best tempered with a small dose of reality. This business chews up people at staggering rates, and when the regionals start having a hard time staffing all bets are off. Rumors floating around about having to have a Dr. note for a sick call. If that happens the TDY nightmares will abound as will the reflow junk kicks. If you learn anything, big changes cause big pain for everyone, this summer will be very interesting, hold on to your rollaboard.

It more then a month or two. More like 7-8 months, I remember that time well being stuck at the bottom.

Wow. Upgrades are that long still? I've got a friend there just transitioned to the CRJ from the Bro. He's been at Skwest for 4 years. No upgrade for him in the near future.

Although, the flip side of the coin could be like me, where one bids and gets SLC but then their partner drops out and one finds themselves heading to ATL in a couple weeks...quite ironic considering I live in SLC and had good enough seniority already as a new hire to bid on a good SLC sim slot.
I sent you a PM with a few more questions on the bidding.

I've flown with 1 FA, and 1 Capt. who both commute to ORD from JAX. Both said they hardly ever have a problem with the commute.

ORD is the 2nd most Jr. base for SkyWest, you will have no problem holding it out of training.

Why else would I bid max credit and leave the rest to fate? LOL.
What you are bidding doesn't mean what you think it means. Guys here have some things that will be important to hear.

Hub reserve, out station res and SLC res are all three very different things, sprinkle in personal temperament and personal situation and res ranges from real hell to layer one bidding. No silver bullets.
