I have the chart holder from crewaid.com. It's a little pricey for a small piece of metal but it works well. There are a few brasilias in the fleet that don't have the same window casing so that one won't fit. It fits on about 85% of them though. There's an FO in San Francisco who makes one that fits on all of that planes but his is bigger and doesn't fit in my flight bag as nicely. The crewaid one is pretty flat and slides right in.
For roller bags Costco has a $100 Kirkland bag with a lifetime warranty that fits in the brasilia overhead bins. I have that one and like it. I've been seeing more and more people with it recently. All of the other standard crew bags work well in the brasilia too but the costco one is the cheapest.

I use the Aurora Tote from luggage works. It fits my charts, FOM, headset and iPad with some room to spare for snacks. It fits pretty well on top of the Jepp case and doesn't bother me.

The typical square Jepp case that a lot of RJ pilots carry around doesn't fit the best in the cockpit. Most people don't have it. You can get it to fit if you need to but it will be kind of big and in the way. Something smaller and mesh will work best. It's going to be sitting on an uneven surface which is part of the reason the square jepp case doesn't work well.
Try stuff out in sim. The sim cockpit is virtually identical to the real thing with the exception that the crewaid chart holder won't work.

Roller bags are a little hit or miss. The CostCo bag fits in the bin as long as it's not packed to the brim. When I have my laptop in the bag it won't fit and I have to carry a separate laptop case. The costco bag also doesn't fit under the back seat in the forward galley airplanes. All of the luggage works bags fit in the bin and under that seat. I like the Costco bag though because of the price.

No need to get a flight case since you won't use it on the crj.

For a flight bag I carry the "SOLO
Ballistic-Look Large Capacity Catalog Case". Despite the name it's narrower and lighter than the standard flight case. Ebags.com sells them for under $70 but you can probably find a coupon.

Most guys carry the luggage works stealth bag. Fits in all overheads, however if you pack heavy it won't fit in the small bin aircraft (a few configurations have small bins). In those instances you can always gate check it, or find a cubby in the cabin.
