I need info Skywest/Expressjet/AWAC

Ok I finally have 1000 turbine PIC and I'm ready to move on to a better QOL. I have interviews at Expressjet and AWAC and I'm still waiting for skywest. so let's just assume I'm going to get to pick from one of the 3. So..here goes.

Can someone quantitate Take home pay year 1 and 2 for all three airlines?
How are the Health Benefits for a family of three? (currently pay 644$/month:eek:)
What's reserve like? Can you pick up a bunch of flying to augment year one pay? Or is this frowned on? Is there long call?
What are the Jr. Bases? Are there cheap crash pad options?
What's your guess for the time spent at the bottom of the list? How long before I could hold a line?
Sadly I don't even know very much about trip/duty rigs...AWAC has 2:1 (I think) which means 2 hours on duty gets you 1 hour pay right? What's a trip rig (4:1)?
Does Expressjet/skywest have them?
Any chance at upgrade any time?

I've heard that awac's contract with US is up in 2015(?) what will happen after that? Does everyone think they will renew?
What's the validity of the rumored Den base for Expressjet?

I know some of these are not black and white issues...And my presentation is probably a little disorganized but any information will help.
Thanks in advance!

1000 turbine PIC and you want to go to a regional? I know every one's situation is different. Just making sure I read that right. Sorry I'm not much help. All three are regionals, so who knows what their future holds.

Take home for year 1 and 2 I'd say awac. Benefits, depends on your family's health situation. Bases, depends on where you live now.

Sir, I think you are confused.... You have 1,000 TPIC and you want to raise your QOL by starting at the bottom of a regional ???.

Probably has it in turboprop time and wants some jet, I have a lot of friends that did this. All had thousands of hours of turboprop time , they mostly all left for shuttle to go get that fancy jet time !!:)

Well sine he's a 1900 driver, my guess is he's coming from Lakes. So, even though he'll be at the bottom of a list, it's still a huge bump in QOL compared to what their used to.

You are correct. 2nd year pay at any of these is more than I make now at 3 year captain pay and...I know some people disagree but I think some jet time will help my resume. And I've pretty much been at the bottom of the list the whole time I've been at Lakes. Still can't hold a line in DEN.

Jet time will help your resume. Anyone who disagrees are lying to themselves.

Sorry, maybe I don't understand the whole turboprop vs jet time for the majors. Anyways I can help some with XJT. Im only in month 8 right now so I cant give you take home for 1st year. But I would say im on pace for mid 20's at 23.05/hr. I would say you will defiantly be able to counteract some of the 1st year pay with the abundance of flying we are expecting this summer. Its hard to say which bases are junior right now. I would say you shouldn't expect to stay in reserve more than 6 months at any base. We do have long call. How long will you be at the bottom ? Not long I would say we are suppose to continue to hire through the year I have about 300 under me right now. Upgrade time is dropping. Along with new hires the school house is filled with upgrades . The DEN base who knows .... Hope that helps some.

I'm at xjet and stuck on the crj700 due to some poor planning. Been reserve since 2007, and moving farther from holding a line. I understand all our hiring will go to the ERJ side, but just keep in mind what COULD happen if you get routed over to this side. Been averaging much less than guarantee... My open time pickups involve chicken farming, wrench work and selling crap online. .

If Delta decides to park more CRJs on the Delta side, how would that affect the ERJ side?
