I'd say you're pretty well set at any of those 3 you mentioned.

I would say look for your most comfortable living situation/or commute. That is just so huge nowadays while being a regional scumbag.

Opportunities: 2 offers 1 pool.

Again, wasn't trying to ruffle feathers or appear lazy. I have looked and found information. This tread will save someone else time from searching 4 threads and 100+ pages half of which are people belittling each other.
Ignore CaltainTony. He's an admitted regional lifer who knows everything but doesn't have time for the likes of you with his super uber senior status.

Personally I would go to Compass if I had offers at all three. In the next 5 years I think that Compass will most likely be the stronger of the three. Compass has the youngest pilot group out of the three. In today's environment this is important. Young pilot group=cheaper pay scale=better contract with who ever is painted on the side of your plane. But hey what do I know. What part of the country do you live in? Are you planning on moving when you go to your airline of choice?

You're wrong. I'm not a lifer, and not even that senior. But I do enjoy messing with people who ask dumb questions.

I would love a non union environment. ALPA is worse than...cue those commercials

And you can add 1.95% back into your paycheck.

And ride the coat tails.

For the OP, pick the one with the best commute for you. That has the biggest impact on QOL. If you want total compensation, XJT.

I disagree since regionals open and close bases so often, who knows where your commute will be. Go to a regional that has the shortest upgrade time. That ain't ExpressJet or SkyWest.

It depends on where you live and if you have the time and / or patience to wait for SkyWest to pull you out of the pool. They are all regionals at the end of the day.
As far as the union argument goes, SkyWest is probably the most desirable regional airline to work for. Very successful, the majority of the pilots are happy there and they have never furloughed.
They don't have a union because they don't need one.

Before anyone with an ALPA lanyard and stickers all over their flight bag comes on here to criticize my opinion, take a look at the Eagle corruption thread. You don't need that kind of B.S. when you're on year pay struggling to make ends meet.
