Skywest flying CRJ-700s for AA in LAX
Sounds like eagle will be pulling out all their through flights from ORD based CRJ-700s that go through LAX later this year, according to maintenance in LAX. They are expecting an announcement soon referencing another RFP with Skywest to take over all LAX based CRJ-700 flying. Eagle is expected to announce a massive Displacement bid for ORD based CRJ-700 pilots and a huge vacancy bid for the LGA/JFK co-domicile for CRJ-700 pilots here around mid-month April.

Another stupid rumor. The only people that would be doing this flying in the long term would be republic in the E-175's.

On the same note I just heard from a scrub in Chicago that Eagle is going to start flying 700's for Delta out of Atlanta. This big vaccancy bid will actually be for a new ATL base.

Wow this is going to get interesting quick.

If you had told me when I was hired at ASA that we would have a contract with UA and AA, Pinnacle would have a contract with DL, or Delta would merge with NWA and operate AirTran's entire 717 fleet, I would have told you that you were nucking futs haha. |
Eagle just purchased 40 ERJ 190's.
