Skywest priority on US Airways

Does a Skywest badged pilot have the ability to non-rev on US Airways with any priority?

I didn't think Skywest flew US Airways Express. Am I wrong, or is there some other reason?

Thanks.

We can jumpseat, but to nonrev you have to have paid for the benefits. We fly some CRJs for them out of PHX. Mostly 200s and a few 900s now.

We have non rev priority on OO operated US Airways express flights. I'm not sure our non rev priority on other US Airways flights. I think we have about 10 CRJ 200s and 4 CRJ 900s that fly out of PHX under the US Airways operation.

but your jumpseat priority is garbage.. down with the rest of the regionals, first come first served

If you pay for benefits (non rev)
Active is SA5P.
Dependents are SA6P.
Priority over SA1P on SKW metal.

Not sure what JS priorities are.

Should be above an SA1 on own metal. Nobody can bump you from own metal, but not all gate agents know since the computer defaults you to SA5

If you are flying for US Airways your JS priority is an A4. If not, you are an A6.

A1- Airways Pilots
A2- Airways Dispatchers
A3- PSA/PDT
A4- Express Affiliates
A5- Training Pilots
A6- Active 121 Pilots
A7- Active 121 Dispatchers

Active American Airline pilots are now A3 as well.

Ok, I get the non-rev priority. New question:

Skywest has 14 aircraft (approximately) in service for US Airways Express out of PHX (out of 325 total, or 4% of the fleet).

Skywest has, what, 3,200 pilots? Do all 3,200 Skywest pilots get A4 jumpseat priority on US Airways, or is there some way to reflect that only around 128 pilots actually operate US Airways Express flying at any one time?

We don't have dedicated Airways Express pilots so any of our pilots can pick up flying and flow into the US system from other domiciles. Since we all can work the US Airways system we all (3200 including the Bro Boyz) are considered Express pilots therefor we all have A4 JS priority.

Just curious but is this affecting you?
