Who's Leaving Skywest?

I've been at Skywest for about 7 months now. In that short period of time my number has gone up about 80 spots. I am curious where guys/gals are going? If to another airline, specifically a major, what are their quals? Did they have the TPIC? Did they have an internal recommendation? Type of equipment they were on, etc? I know there is a similar thread on the Major link, but I am curious about the SkyWest movement.

if you are a pilot at SKW as you say and for only 7 months then you should know they, the 80 above you who left had better qualifications than you did to get to SKW.

thats what i would say if i was to answer you.

Well thats really nice of you Captain Obvious, but you have no idea where I was before Skywest, nor do you have any idea of my qualifications. Next time try to contribute something of use.

They are going to UA, Spirit and JetBlue

Most are FOs with no TPIC

That is what I have heard. I am curious why the FO with no TPIC? Longevity?

XJT lost over 80 pilots in the first 5 weeks of 2014. Just sayin'

Hopefully your leaving too. Judging by the last conference call management is going to start scaling back the airline.

81 and counting. I already know about 10 people from CRJ side alone that got offers. Not sure of the date they are leaving though.

Won't matter CRJCA, on the ERJ everyone is heading for the door. Our attrition is sky high and is only going to accelerate. 3 year FO and I'm climbing 20-40 numbers a month.

Atlas has a few direct from SkyWest...I think some of them had 0 TPIC.
