FAA: Skywest fined 1.2 million
I'm by no means a fan of Skywest, but this happens at all carriers at one point or another. It's really not news at all...
In all fairness, the title is a bit misleading as of this date. They are proposed fines with SkyWest having 30 days to respond before a fine is actually imposed.
“Safety is our top priority,” said FAA Administrator Michael Huerta.
This made me chuckle. |

Yes, but air101 couldn't help it. Negative news about SkyWest that came out on Friday and here it is Monday and no one is talking about it yet?! He couldn't let that slide.

I just saw an article stating Skywest is limited to FL280 in the RJ and FL350 in the 70 seater? Is that true? And if so, why?
