Thought 70 vs 76 seat count at Delta was different.. Doubt there replacement..company memo usualy says if they are. Bet someone will ask next week on the invester call..

I think Delta scope has a hard limit of 450 RJs with 125 being 50 seaters. It would easy to find out if you tallied up all the larger RJs operated by DCI carriers. If the number is higher than 325 with the new skywest deliveries, than these E175s could possibly replace some CRJ 700/900s currently in operation.

I think American and United's scope is not just a hard number and more so based on a ratio of their mainline narrow body fleets. Delta Pilots have the best scope in my opinion because it's a hard number.

This batch and the United from a bit back are most likely 700 replacements. Look at the contract expirations in 2016 on SWOL.

I think Delta scope has room for ~10 large RJs.

Only 4 come off contract in 2016, so maybe I stand corrected. But 19 for both is a weird coincidence.

Will never know whats replacment or not. Just look at all the "USair" painted 200's/900's now in Delta paint this month. Fact is SkyWest is hiring 100 pilots a month. And that alone should tell you its not all replacement.. I see why they keep saying upgrade will drop below 2 years...

I think they are growth. Every other time we have received airframes that are replacing others they state that in the press release. I'd be willing to bet these are growth.

Scope is a global thing, take from one add to another, my bet is another carrier is about to feel the pain.

Doubtfull. JAC, SUN, LGB, ASE are a few reasons they won't replace the 700's...
