I believe the reason the uflymikes are OK now is because they can be TSO'd. But yes, several of us use them.

I called uflymike yesterday and they anticipate the Tso cert for the qc25 later this year. Can you use the qc15 non tso version

From what i know you do not need a tso headset unless its in your SOP and I only know of one carrier (cargo) that requires that. I could be wrong, im wrong 50% of the time.

There's history behind the TSO thing at SWA. I'll just leave it at that.

I thought the harmony mike was TSOd?

I use the ufly/QC15 set up. works great. Sweet for riding in the back without carrying another music rig. I have a brand new in the box QC15 For the day the original craps out. The ear cushions last about two years, but are cheap and simple to replace. There is plenty of notice when the battery is running down. It has never failed, unlike the call center Telex the company provided. (cough cough kick back) Lithium battery life is about six weeks.

Are the company-issued the Telex 850 with ANR? I used the QC-25 with Harmony at my old job.

Not yet... I contacted them the other day and was told they don't know when it'll be done. I'm on the fence, just about ready to sell it and just get the A20. Wish I would've kept my older uflymike.

For a commuter, the qc15/25 & UFM is the way to go. Works great upfront, pull the mike out and watch movies on your iPad or just sleep when commuting/DH in the back.

Some guys love the A20's, others say they're too heavy and squeeze your head. They are slightly quieter than the qc/UFM setup but I didn't think it was $500 better.

So officially the new Uflymike harmony is not allowed at SWA? I know there was some type of battle over Uflymike there years ago, just wondering what is the scoop now? Thanks!
