Question Recommended job prep

Used the search function but only came up with a few responses recommending various prep services for UAL/DAL.

I'm at a loss as to what else I can do to make me more visible to SWA. I think having a service look over my app and resume wouldn't be a bad idea. Does anyone have any recommendations on prep services that are familiar or specialize in SWA hiring practices?

Thank you.

Centerline worked well for me. I didn't use them till after I was offered an interview, but they are pretty plugged in to the swa process.

I'll second the above; Centerline was a great experience for me as well.

I've used cage and centerline. Does she offer something they don't? I'm hesitant to drop another $200 or so for resume and app review services.

She used to work in SWA HR. Their office is in Dallas and they walk you through all three of the panels you'll go through if you get invited for an interview. Their prep was harder than my actual interview. I paid $800 for their services. A drop in the bucket compared to the potential millions of dollars you'll make in a 20+ year career at SWA.

Update your app frequently, as in every week.

I also used R Krone...she's got a very good team!

They charge $100/hr so did you actually get eight hours of "one on one" prep or was that a packaged price? That seems like a substantial amount of personalized prep time.

Two one-on-one phone sessions going over interview questions, about an hour or more each. Then a final rehearsal covering the three panels the day before the actual interview. This lasted about three hours, if I remember correctly. I appreciated the LOI run-through. They'll write your cover letter for you, but I was a short timeline (which they were extremely helpful in accommodating), and didn't use one.

As a 20-year mil guy, the phone sessions were extremely helpful. I hadn't interviewed for a job in decades. They were extremely helpful in shaping my TMAAT stories into something they could relate to. YMMV

One note: The hiring folks at SWA are not big fans of interview prep. Some people were asked outright if they used it (I wasn't). They want a genuine look at you, not be told what they want to hear. Don't feel obligated to regurgitate what your prep people say is the "right answer"

Only you can answer if the cost is worth it. For me, it was and I have zero regrets and would recommend Rebekah and her team without reservation. They know what they are doing.

If you don't have a interview, I still think having them go over your resume and pilot credentials app would be wise.
