Default PHX commuter hotels

Any PHX hotels have decent commuter rates? Sketchy ones to avoid?

Thanks

I’ve been using the Sleep Inn Phoenix Airport for going on 14 years. Approx $60 out the door. Choice Hotels points build up fast (not fancy establishments, but clean enough to crash in on cheap vacations). Good location. Van service is call-on-demand for pickup and Terminal 4 is first stop for drop off with a five minute drive. Free breakfast. Hilton across the street has great food (steak tacos BOMB) and you can get a discount coupon from the Sleep Inn front desk. Also, Hilton allows use of their gym. Ask at Hilton front desk and present your room key.

I used the Country Inn and Suites (Crew Tel Rate) when I did my hardline month, out of training there. I think the rate was 70 out the door. Its right across from the Sleep Inn as previous poster mentioned. The worst part is that there is not much around for food, a Denny's under the bridge or the Hilton a few hundred yards away. Just tell the Hilton bartender your a Netjets pilot and you'll get a discount . Shuttle is same as Sleep Inn, On Demand.

I usually use priceline or hotwire and can find a room for <$60 within a 5 minute ride. Sometimes, it is in the $80s, but it is still cheaper (and safer) than OAK.

Crown Plaza near the airport used to offer rates. Not sure if they still do.

Once spring training starts, hotels in PHX can become an issue.
