Don’t care what you did with it. How much?

Is that through top hat/excess stuff? If not, how did you set that up?

I paid for past parking bills and uniform expenses. Then I went and “grabbed several muffins” for my near international turns. Gotta stock up ahead of time.

I’m gonna treat myself to paid newspapers for the next several months and full size bars of soap as opposed to the hotel minis that I enjoyed “on the house”. Sometimes you just gotta splurge.

Oh, and my alimony payments will finally be caught up! If only I could donate to the company to help with the “tech debt”.

Sounds like you want to be a lager guppy in a small pond. What did the profit sharing from airtran look like again? I heard that Jet blue gives you unlimited muffins, paid parking and you even get to clean the airplane.

Of course my 13 year Captain friend over there received $3,000 for profit sharing. While a 14 year captain at SW received $29k before taxes with a take home of nearly $21k after taxes.

For that I could have had a limo drop me off and pick me up for every trip instead of parking my own car. I would even have enough left over to splurge on every sit down restaurant in the near international terminal before the flight.

I got a great idea why don't you use the money to transition to an airline that doesn't suck so bad that you have to constantly ***** about it. I am sure they will be very receptive to your criticisms.

Then again if you were really senior at the Tran you were probably unhirable by anyone else.

You might want to consider investing in a sense of humor with your PS check.

“Sense of humor” from a guy who, in his own mind, belives he worked for a legacy carrier. That in itself is pretty funny. Scabs o plenty at his former carrier who may demand paid parking and uniforms while selling themselves out at the expense of their fellow pilots. I wonder when he will change his “downgrade complete” little whine now that he’s back in the left seat making twice as much as he ever would have at the Tran. Of course he’s the typical pilot who would forgo a $50 per hour pay raise for $35 per month in parking. Witnessed too many of his types at the NMB headquarters in DC back in the 2000’s. Talk about ameteur hour.

You’re still here and still at it?! You’re statements are so littered with inaccuracies they’re not even worth responding to. Feel free to put me on your avoidance bid list in CWA and your ignore list on here.

I guess “straight into” the 529s was misleading. I just meant I took the excess cash that was payroll deposited and sent it immediately away to Vanguard.

As a 4/5 try FO with young kids (6 and under) I figure if I bank the excess cash and SWA remains profitable for the next 12-18 years, college should just be about paid for.
