Yup.

You're one data point too.

When I am on reserve, I check my base RCO several times per day too.
The vast majority of what little open time pops up gets picked up straight and never makes it to a reserve. Those that get assigned often have the trips picked up, either out of TTGA or straight pickup. Some folks actually have a fly preference too.

On all but 1.5 of the 13 days I've sat so far, I was No 1 on the RCO and most of it was on weekends or partial weekends. I was 2 on the last 3 day block. The guy ahead of me got assigned several times, but was able to give them away, and finally got sent out on a 2 day late on day 2 of 3, which moved me to No1 for the last day and a few hours on the second day.

YMMV, but reserve in my base is one of the few good deals these days.

The point we are both making here is that reserve for an FO in a commuter base is way different then reserve as a Captain in base with more local pilots.

For sure! Just throwing out another data point. I think the next few months are gonna be lean all over.

Five trips remaining in DAL FO August ELITT. Net Zero 5. Haven’t seen that before.

MCO Capt had 5 trips in open time 15 minutes after opening on the 25th. The same 2 sub rig trips have been in ELITT for at least the last 6 days or so.

Haha yeah I’ve seen your posts here about that. This is the first I’ve seen of this for FO’s in my base though.

Slip, I heard a rumor that the company wants to make all MCO and PHX captains be right-seat qual'd (special lance for you!). In doing so, they'll ensure every open trip systemwide, subrigged or not, will be exported to MCO and PHX and be flown at straight.

A sideletter will be put in place with this allowing the company to move trips in ELITT to MCO and PHX whenever their respective NZ is positive.

Side letter or MOU? At least with an MOU, we'll 'demonstrate some goodwill.'
