Why is SWAPA suing Boeing over the MAX?
Am I the only person who is questioning why SWAPA has filed a lawsuit against Boeing? What good would come from it? Seems like a very risky proposition with many more negatives vs positives?

What are the negatives? It’s not like Boeing has a great public perception right now, so we really aren’t hurting that.

My understanding is that they are suing for the lost compensation of 30,000 cancelled flights. What we as the pilot group would have been compensated had we operated those.

I mean, I get that your guys BLGs are down, but doesn't that mean less work for less money?

Really? Is that why? But you didn't work those flights? You guys are suing for work you could have done but didn't? Seems like a stretch... who do you sue when a storm hits the Northeast? How about when SWA computers go down?
