Southwest lost a good one Saturday night

Katherine was a joy to fly with and was genuinely one of the kindest, caring, and thoughtful individuals I ever knew. She will be missed and her and her family are in my prayers. You never know what personal demons someone may be dealing with and for anyone to chose death over life is tragic. Times like these serve as a reminder to be kind to one another, life is a precious commodity that can be snuffed out in an instant, tell the important people in your you love them. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there tonight wishing they had one more chance to tell her that. RIP

Very sorry to hear this. I don’t believe I knew her but I may have flown with her. Having dealt with a suicidal teen, I can definitely appreciate the comments by the OP. A smile or kind gesture can in fact save a life. Be good to one another.

Life is too short to hold grudges against one another. This is sad, RIP.

Very sad to read about this poor woman.

That said, what does holding grudges have to do with anything? I will hold certain grudges until the day I die. Never forgive, never forget!

Then it must truly suck to be you. My condolences.

Grudges steal positive energy, to much work crew to carry, screw that !!!!!!

If anyone here knows about not letting something go, it’s this guy

Okay... awful thread derailment.

Sad to hear this.
Never shy from asking friends how they’re doing and truly wanting to listen.

While I truly enjoy watching stupid arguments on APC. Take this somewhere else people. A wonderful young woman lost her life. Don’t derail this to cheap shots and childish comments. Go make your own thread and argue there about your grudges and let’s try to leave this respectful to shine some light on a life lost way to early.

Unfortunately not the only SWA loss this week to suicide, we lost a pilot as well (I won't name the person).

Macjet 03-11-2020 08:22 AM

We recently went through this at NK with an FA as well. So sorry for your loss.

Yes. Shocked and saddened by this. Texted him last week and never got a response.

Very sorry for the SWA loss. I have a good friend who’s very senior in OAK. While I was suppose to meet with him this week-he never showed, and his phone is off. I am a bit concerned. Any info on the pilot would be much appreciated.

Ok thank you.
