Back in the olden pre Rona days, pretty much everyone was running 80+ load factor out of PSP quite regularly. Wouldn’t be shocked to see PHX-PSP to compete with AA who’s sending RJs in there

Hmmm...Let’s see, B6 moves all of its SoCal operation to LAX, and WN moves into MIA. I wonder who the largest Big-3 airline was at LAX and MIA?
Do you think the two healthiest “balance sheet” airlines might be strategically positioning for some post-Covid plans. Makes you wonder.

Oh you'll like Palm Springs overnights a lot I think....! Just maybe visualize your windshear maneuver in the brief and enjoy the screaming after rotation since it's the worst turbulence I've seen with an almost 11,000 foot sheer cliff of a mountain a few miles from the runway...

same here. In a corporate jet. Not any worse than our other stations. An added benefit to originators...

This should probably be in the other thread, but I think JB and WN have very different expectations for LGB. JB appeared to hope for LGB to be a major component of their eventual west coast presence, whereas WN already owns the intra-CA market, and LGB is just a nice addition to that already established network. I can't see much urgency for WN to push for customs at LGB.
