For this economy to successfully open, we do need a lawsuit limitation on businesses. The standard disclaimer that we are all operating in a pandemic and you assume all risk by leaving your own home.
I live in LA and family is on the east coast. We are not driving 2,000+ miles one way every time we have to fly. My 3 yr old keeps a mask on for about 30 minutes tops. Luckily, Spirit FAs didn't harass her.

I fly a lot in the back with my young child. I get a FA that has an agenda about 50% of the time. If there was an easier way I do it but like you I cant drive 2000 miles each time. Patiently waiting for masks to be a choice not a requirement.

New York Times probably falls into the “it’s a hoax” camp.
“In three sets of testing data that include cycle thresholds, compiled by officials in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada, up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus, a review by The Times found.”

i think at the end of the day people want what’s best for them and their family. And these political games are affecting all of us. And for a lot of us the political games/incompetence and BS are affecting us more than the virus.

I had a kid on a flight that had problems wearing a mask for 4 hrs. The FA gave the family extra snacks and always made sure there was water in front of him.
There's more ways to comply with the rules than just wear the mask or you're off.

After landing he fills out an IR and his reasoning why to cover his ass (if he wants). If the FA was adamant to remove the child then he or she could contact the NOC and talk to the chief pilot on call. Let him know that he feels it is ok, the kid is just snacking. But then explain the FA doesn’t and have that specific FA removed or remove himself from the flight because he doesn’t want that associated with him. Trust me they would move the FA in a heart beat. While riding in the back I had an FA get on my case for not drinking my water the right way. Supposedly I'm supposed to only pull down my mask enough to take a sip then immediately put it back on. Same with eating. She even told me she was going to tell the cpt on me. My response was please do.
there are all walks of life out there. Those who insist they're right and those who dont care about anything. Sometimes you get that combo and a 2 yr old gets kicked off.
