What side gigs do you have?

I’m looking for something to do on the side or if I pursue a master’s something that would be good to pursue.

Are any pilots also lawyers, real estate agents, business professionals, etc on the side?

Asked and answered on multiple other threads, just use the search function. There’s at least one of everything (lawyer, doctor, dentist, RE, etc) side hustle between all the big airlines

Pick up premium. $200k/year extra pay and I have one job to know. If I want to take some time off I have one vacation/sick call to coordinate. Some guys I fly with have some really cool side hustles. To me it sounds like real work, yuck.

My side gig is to spend time with kids, flyfish, golf, hike anything but work. I try to work as little as possible.

This +1. Hard to beat the $/hour.

That said, I have a small business that makes a few dollars, and more importantly, gives me something to do on layovers that I enjoy. When I retire, I could expand it into something bigger, or just close it up.

Buy a bar...

Something that is close to a hobby you enjoy and that you can do from anywhere (overnights).... Even if you don't make money you can use it to write off on taxes and will still enjoy it.

Me? I do online marketing and sales.

I had one trip with a guy who appeared to be sorting/ranking porn. For over 4 hours on his personal ipad he swiped left or right. I never did figure out a way to ask WTF and I never saw the guy again, but it's difficult to imagine anyone doing that without getting paid for it.

I think independently managed rentals is the way to go. Unless you want to be one of the guys on the phone between gates and working on sits/overnights.
