No vote unless there is disability, vacation, hotel, training schedule fix. Also can we get rid of the .xx on the rates this time please? Just round up

Swapa reps are saying those rates are not even close. Maybe this was the initial ask but market forces have since applied upward pressure.

Who do they think we are, Alaska or UA? That’s a no from me dawg. I think about 3x SkyWest is a good place to begin.

Attention all SWA Mouthbreathers!!!!!!

I’m here to help you with your mouthbreathing because I love you.❤️

This is a campaign. It’s part of a decades old playbook. It’s intent is to destroy unity and resolve. The source might be the company, just some of your fellow mouthbreathers or a combination of both.

It’s an attempt to get you to believe the company is offering a 55 percent narrow body raise if SWAPA would only play ball. This way you will lose unity, question why you are doing things like picketing and want for SWAPA to agree to capitulate on myriad items so as not mess up these “huge” raises.

It has no listed aircraft type so you won’t know that it’s for wide bodies.

It has no dates so you won’t know it’s for end of contract.

It uses the words “potential” and “rumored” so nobody gets sued or in trouble by NMB for lying or negotiating in public.

Speaking of wide bodies;

Any of those potential shiny new objects would almost certainly not hit the line before the amendable date of our next contract.

15 of them would be about 225 pilots or 2.3 percent of the pilot group.

Convert those rates to TFP and then down by the standard amount from WB to narrow body industry rates. What you get is almost exactly the Alaska TA narrow body rates.

Don’t take this bait mouthbreathers.

Welcome to Costco, I love you.❤️

-your friend,

Interesting as $380/tfp is exactly the number I heard we are asking for now for top captain rate. I heard that rumor a couple months ago and that it was the new ask when we countered ourselves recently after Carl & Kompany refused to offer a counter to our original rate proposal.

For 2020. What's the rates going forward from there?

Lewbronski 10-07-2022 11:01 PM

I nominate Mouthbreathers to head the SWAPA NC ASAP.

These rates get a no vote from me before I even see what work rules, disability, bidding system, hotel language, retirement concepts, etc they’ve cooked up. I want an industry-leading contract in every way. These rates aren’t near enough. NO. NO. NO.

Just so we are clear...
Those of you not in favor are saying that a 55 percent rate hike is not acceptable?
What is your minimum? 100 percent?

Now don't get me wrong...we need a strong contract and a snap up clause so we don't get in the same pickle we were in last go around, but I would say 55 percent meets my expectations for acceptable payrate hike.

With that 55 percent, how much sick time accrual rate are you willing to give up ? Let’s not forget we have not a had a contract for almost 800 days and counting .
