Delta AIP

SWAPA seems pretty tightly tied to what ALPA would be able to achieve at Delta. With the first look at their AIP thoughts on something similar for us? Some solid points, but the narrow body rates of course received the lowest raises and retro is pretty weak.

Yeah, Hot Karl is gonna have to do a little better with those rates. I want to see 20% first year plus all our other fixes. If they don’t fix things like LTD, premium on rigs, NEC, retro pay, etc. then the rates need to go up.

Brahhhhh you need to fix your post. They need to fix all that and increase pay rates. We need all that fixed plus full retro plus at least 25% increase in rates! Not either or.

25% would take our rates to the DL AIP rates. They’re getting a MIN 18% snap up. It’ll go up with the 1% on top of whatever UAL/AA negotiate.

We’ll prob need 28% to match where they end up at.

What he said. And we already have negotiating in public for a paltry 20%. 😵‍💫

How do you get 25%?

Who claimed that Delta's new contract would be "generational"? This is nowhere in the ballpark of "generational."

I would definitely vote no if SWAPA brings us something like this. But I fear that 84% of my fellow SWAPA members would not join me.

We have the leverage available to us if we want it to achieve much better than this. But right now, it seems like we don't really want the leverage to accomplish that.

Not impressed at all with this AIP. Hopefully our guys wont even bring us something like this.
no retro, paltry NEC, bad raises. Even if we got all of our language I wouldnt agree to this.
Definitely not a once in a generation deal. I'd say it's a normal contract.
Heck even their feeders make more than them based off of this.

Ummm what?! The new rates at Delta would never be seen at southwest. Let’s be honest we all know you guys are just a big ol regional.
