disability fix (less stress for if something happens) footprint protection capability vacation shifting LCO should lead to schedule protection Reserve ELITT straight pickups in ELITT (leading to Nz increases) more retirement security less reserve days per month RLTCI sick button training bidding PNZ Scheduling execution improvements (stc, exports rigged) not applying to me any more: maternity leave bonding care Add to that the monetary gains, which is a direct correlation to QOL (I can lower my monthly need to pick-up, lowering my days required at work) Planned blocks not to exceed (4) duty periods without mutual agreement between company and association....? Planned blocks should NEVER exceed 4 duty periods. Don't even want the option. Maximum number of 4-days in domicile less or = 25%.....no. Should be 20% No Cap on reserve manning Added July 4 to ELITT restriction DTC formula remains unchanged. DTC limits too restrictive for QOL purposes Reserve ELITT restriction percentages too high. The "exception" in 10.C.14.4 needs to be struck. Release-to-check-in language is garbage. ANY trip assigned prior to RAP start should be eligible for RTCI, regardless of length. Commuter Rule: SWA flight scheduled to block in BY report time. What purpose does 1hr prior provide? As soon as you know you're late, you should be calling scheduling anyway. GDO override pay should be higher than 6.5(min rig). *The improvements in the TA would not disappear if it was voted down. But the deficiencies(however minor some may view them) would certainly not get fixed in the next 9 years. However it's 'my money, and I want it NOW!' |

It’s absolutely ridiculous. Acting like we lay brick in an Alabama summer working for poverty wages. I’d love to see them tell their non-pilot friends that they made 400k but 550k is just not enough. Oh and don’t even ask them to drop a dime on professional responsibilities (medical, uniforms, meals)

I don’t like 4 days, but meh about one of the lowest things on my priority list 3. Not different than OALs. Status quo. One even has a contractual reserve minimum of 30%. 3. There’s no mechanism at any other company quite like ELITT that I’m aware of. DTC isn’t a hard concept as is and I’ve manipulated my schedule plenty to my advantage under current book. Being able to straight pick up if I want to out of ELITT helps me. Don’t care about the July 4th restriction. Gain with straight pick up. 4. Reserve ELITT is a gain in and of itself. 5. RTIC is the same as some OALs now, it’s a nice feature. It’s a gain. 6. Commuter rule was already better than a few OALs, no considerable change isn’t a loss. Status Quo 7. Don’t care. Status quo. None of those are important enough to me to stay on current book and pay for another 9-12 months. They may be nice little gets, but 3/8 are actual gains (just because you’d want different rules doesn’t mean they aren’t gains above current book) and the rest are status quo. |

Interesing, I know a retired SWA pilot who owns his own stone business and its worth upward of 15 million. You're insulting a good stone mason. Yes, this TA is a big fat stinky turd! All the chest pounding by SWAPA and all they got was industry average. Buy I'm sure all you yessies got the SWAPA executives and brand new office at the GO.
I know a guy that didn’t do any of that and just retired from here and is worth $10M working under our “iNDusTry LaGGiNg COntrActS” You can either have a good debate over the deficiencies you see or you can go on a forum like a jagaloon and call it a “giant stinky turd” and lose a lot of people. Guess you chose the latter. |

Its a big, giant, steamy, stinky, turd. You did not even get industry average pay, we are still a few short, the retro is short, the language through out this TA is ambiguous at best and even SWAPA's own compensation video claims at times under the new LCO rules you can and will be paid less than the contract we operate under now. This TA reminds me of when SWAPA negotiated stock options in lew of pay, they pounded their chest and bragged about all the "soft" money guys where going to make. That also turned out to be big lie. All those options expired at a price well under the strike price and the pilots did get a dime of it. But you can rest assured many of your SWAPA executives selling this turd will be doing great after all this, with their new shiny title and office at the GO.
