once the sodomizer gets re programmed say goodbye to extra anything

unless we agree to airport standby, I doubt anything will change that much. The way we operate requires quick solutions more so than cheap ones.

Yep. SWA will not change the way they operate, so I am glad the union extracted a price for it. Move up was great sometimes until it wasn't. I have already had three trips that got LCO. First one lost a few TFP compared to the old move up/DRO rules, but the next two absolutely crushed it because my daily footprint was almost exactly the same, but lots of legs got changed. Under the old rules, almost all of it would have been absorbed by either the rigs or by the "paid the greater of flown or scheduled" rule. In one case, I basically swapped trips with another pilot and we both got rich flying each others normal trips vs getting premium on one or two legs and possibly getting absorbed by rigs.

There isn't enough pay here to go through all of this mess. I'd rather go home and work some other time.
