I am also calling and texting my reps. The SWAPA BOD tends to suffer from group think and the surveys and podcast make me think they have already largely made up their mind.
The only way for line pilots to move the needle is to comm the crap out of the people making the decision.
maybe a dumb question but do you use your company email or personal? I've never gotten a response back. Maybe I dont have popular opinions.

The pilot group hasn’t received a single penny in compensation for the harm that has been caused to our careers and paychecks because Boeing can’t get its act together and SWA’s insistence on maintaining a single fleet type.

So now the company wants us to accept VPTO that will benefit 5-10% of the pilot group on a monthly basis while harming the remaining 90-95%. This is directly from the SWAPA podcast. If you haven’t already, you need to listen to it and then be sure to fill out the poll that came out today.

No way in hell should we entertain this nonsense. I’ve already talked to both of my reps and told them such. Think about it….its a net savings to the company in pilot payroll costs. That means it’s a net loss to the bank accounts of the pilot group as a whole. So they want 90-95% of the pilot group to essentially work one extra day per month and give up their green bars (what SRC estimates will happen per the podcast), because Boeing can’t deliver our airplanes and the geniuses at SWA don’t have enough vision and managerial talent to diversify beyond the train wreck of a company that Boeing is.

amen. The fact that this even needs a poll is disheartening, to say the least. This ought to be a slam dunk “uh gfy no way lol” from the NC.

Remember when we took that poll about 12m in dues from retro after we already voted to raise dues during negotiations? No? Me either.
