Interview? Post your times

Figured with hiring starting up this would be a good place for people to learn what’s competitive. Post your times, background, and how long from app to invite.

I can tell you I have 2 buddies that got the TBNT today. Both current fly the A320/321 for an ACMI both have over 4000tt and one of them has a 737 type on top of the A320 type and 2000+ TPIC (in a single engine turboprop) My guess is the ones getting interviews are higher time with 121 TPIC under their belts. That or military pilots with good times. I look forward to seeing what others getting interviews are having to get an idea myself. Congrats to the ones getting interviews.

Four friends of mine today got the TBNT email. 3 of them work for regionals and they have 1,000-1,400 hours Regionals PIC. Only 1 of those 3 had a special tracking issue/minor setback back in initial Regional FO training. Otherwise, clean records. The 4th guy did a few hundred hours at a regional and then went on to fly heavies for an international cargo carrier where he’s at now, around 1,800 turbine time, no TPIC. Not sure on college degrees.

over at frontier we just announced major hiring in the tune of hundreds which is basically going to equate the same on a % basis to legacy hiring next year.

would not be surprised at all if the hiring drops down to no PIC time sometime mid next year as qualified apps are ran through on this next uptick.

the guy who posted over 10K TT are extremely few are far between. To be honest outside of spirit it’s hard to believe somone has 10K hours in this environment and is just now wanting to find a career airline. Everyone has their life choices and not to knock the gentleman above, because in the end of the day people have good reasons on making the move now. With that being said, don’t expect those unicorns to line the training center after six months of legacy hiring numbers plus now Southwest…

Yeah I really wonder what these 10k TT with 4000 TPIC are doing… Being at spirit is one thing but you would’ve had at least an interview with a major back in the massive wave you’d think

I took a DEC position for 100k bonus and 17 year pay after covid. Admittedly I should have just taken the legacy job during that time but here I am.

I don't think there's alot of positions this go around but I think the industry hiring has to improve. Im 12 months from flow at AA but I think SWA will be a great fit for me.

Not sure about unicorn 🦄 but yes Im probably not the typical resume right now.

is this because it's HRs show now? Maybe they didn't say the right buzz words to make HR feel comfortable?
