I get displacement and base reductions happen. The didn’t communicate DEN’s drawdown. It was a ATL drawdown message and DEN has had way more displacements. Literally 6 mos prior BoJo and the rest of the bigwigs were in DEN at a “Rock the Rockies” rally saying they wanted to be #1 ahead of UAL….they got a funny way of showing it. So yeah, that makes me mad. I can vent here…but I don’t talk shop at work unless the other guy brings it up and asks my opinion. If I end up commuting, so be it…I’ll burn sick time down to avoid commutes and pick up in base until I’m back to driving to work. LAS CPO told one of my FO’s sick calls there were through the roof…wonder why since that’s the preferred displacement base for guys leaving DEN.
