What’s the word on a new type(s)

I keep hearing rumors about a 787 coming soon. But unless leasing or buying used does anyone think Boeing will just let us squeeze an order in? They’re decades out on orders right?

I just heard a rumor that they’re sending about 20 LCAs to get typed on the 787??

thoughts on a smaller type? Embraer 175 / E2 etc?

It’s true. I’m one of those LCA.

I can verify Whacks information. I am part of the committee tasked with standing up the committee for new fleet standards. We’ve chosen an all star cast of former navy p3 pilots to re-write etops (70% of the world is water). We’ve also gathered together the many former Alaska bush pilots (cause snow, and pioneering spirit)) to rewrite the Boeing FCOM. Pretty standard really.

I’ve said too much already. Secrets squirrel union NDA’s etc. There will be polling coming soon; designed specifically to bamboozle and reinforce the conclusions we arrived at last week. Stay tuned.

This company is going to rely on the 737 until it is absolutely forced to get another type. Sorry to burst any bubbles. I keep flying with guys who are repeating this stuff and it is definitely not going to happen anytime in the near future.

I heard it from the skyhop driver on the way to the lead building as she just dropped off the guys who were on their way to Boeing to pick up our first one and take it to paint.
