Pulling back from the world stage to only focus on domestic issues would prove to be disastrous. We tried that during the buildup and beginning of WW2, and a huge chunk of the world collapsed into fascism and we all know how that played out. Isolationism is foreign policy for children. |

If only we could invent a thing where we use words, nonviolent actions, and even threats of violence to accomplish our goals. We can call it dipolmaticarism…..no too long……diplocracy…..not quite right. Still workshopping the name. I wish our men and women caught up in this mess a safe return and maybe some wisdom to be bestowed upon our leaders who got us into this complete unnecessary quagmire. It isn’t too late to pull back from the brink. |
