Meigs = complete loss. With few exceptions like DEN Int'l to replace Stapleton and the new NW FL field next to Panama City, we are losing way too many airports.....very sad. |

I doubt SWA is scared of the legacies. Them good old Texas boys don't scare easily. They have cash, are making record profit, and can always file bankruptcy like all the real airlines did and skip out on their debt. It's a beautiful thing.
The legacies used to trail SW's profit margins. For 2013, and maybe 2012, DL and US profit margins are close to ahead with UA/AA(2013) fairly close. JB's numbers(profit margins) trail everyone else. Hardly a sign of future strength. |
