Has everyone been still calling the list number to list?

It seems it's getting increasingly difficult to get someone to answer the number. The hold times are very long.

We are in day 3 of IT meltdown. I would find another carrier to ride until this ****storm ends.

Plenty of offline jumpseaters in STL yesterday and they got on just fine. List at the counter if the number is busy and try and let someone from the crew know you are there if they happen to pop up from the airplane. 99 percent of captains won't leave a man behind.
That being said, the above advice about finding another carrier for the next 3-4 days until this settles down is pretty good advice unless you have no alternative.
