MX and FA negotiations

Has anyone heard anything on the maintenance negotiations? I'm hearing both yes/no on the flight attendant side. Has anyone seen the FA agreement?

They got a raise and a small signing bonus....not full retro. Problem with being on the top of the pyramid is you don't have a lot of leverage to move higher.

The flt att TA is being voted on right now ending on 10-31.

The mechanics have nothing, no TA

The FA union is in full sell mode. They are cold calling FAs, sending sales teams to overnights to engage FAs who are down in the bar eating, and are stuffing flyers under doors on overnights.
Nothing from the mechanics, but I bet we will hear something relatively soon.
Every unionized workgroup at SWA is the highest paid in the industry...except the pilots.

What airline that only flys narrow body AC has higher pay than SWA?

Is that who we are being compared to? Funny, when justifying executive pay, our CEO and his minions used Delta, UA, and AA as their basis of comparison.
SWAPA uses legacy 737 pay as our basis of comparison. I think that's fair. Even after this TA is a done deal, we still will lag both Delta and United.

All I know is that the days of free side letters are behind us. There are a truckload of non-monetary ancillaries that need to be addressed before this CBA reaches parity with our legacy airline counterparts.

Bidding for training, hotel language (long/short and minimum quality criteria) crew meals on longer flights (especially redeyes when it may not be possible to buy food), improved company bidding /trading software, hotel language, JA limits, uniforms, parking, long call reserve, reserve trip ownership, commutable pairings, line construction that allows bid for lifestyle (min block), have I mentioned hotel language?

Is this thread about the flt atts and mechanics?
