Contract Negotiations room
#721
If anyone was concerned about the 4 day that needed to be covered tonight, W4253, its been covered by a junior CA in DFW for that sweet below market pay JRM. The fight will go on as scheduled.
Glad to know that on the same day we get dumped on by management, guys are still picking the phone up and bailing them out. Bob made $7.2 million, more than his counterparts at Legacy carriers, yet we help him and bail out his company.
Is it simply that many in this pilot group are beyond understanding?
Contractually compliant or not, you are helping a management group out that values you the same as the cheap labor we have throughout the company, minus the high paid upper management.

I just thank God that 60 % of this pilot group wasn't here for the strike, bunch of giving up snowflakes looking for thing to be done for them and the world ends at every negotiation week "I got no confidence on my NC, I got no confidence on NK, I got no confidence on the mediator, blah blah blah". Enough to drive someone insane.

I have every confidence in our NC. I'm ready to strike too...just waiting on the vote!

That same greed that you complain your management is infected with, will prevail and they will finally see the light of day.
Look at Doug Parker, for example. Now granted, he had a $20 Million dollar personal incentive, but he was tripping over himself to bring the Usairways pilots pay back out of the gutter after 7 years of gladly paying them very little, if they got onboard with a merger with AMR.
Have ALPA notify your management that a merger is going to be very difficult to pull off if the pilots aren't happy. If that's what you're concern is.

Why FLL continues to be the largest group that doesn't wear the lanyard and the largest percentage on the Standing Avail list? I'm sure Ram will have an sarcastic response.

We have a majority of pilots that represent a great group and a percentage that are selfish money grabbing short-sighted fools.

Its funny that there are full on gravy chokers and full on fly your line types on the fll whatsapp and they all get along. Not one choking comment, no gravy tracking. Whats up with that?

Take a lesson from the recent history of airline mergers. Make management understand, in no uncertain terms, that you will not agree to a combined seniority list without having a solid, industry leading contract agreed to before signing off on a merger.
That same greed that you complain your management is infected with, will prevail and they will finally see the light of day.

Frontier is ALPA so the policy would apply
