I think this topic deserves its own room. Especially for folks from other airlines that may have in interest in just this spirit related topic.

Sounds like there were no TA's this session. Considering it sounded like we were inches, not yards, from TA'ing section 9 at the close of the last session I am a little surprised that here straight days at the table couldn't close it out.
One has to ask if inviting our Finnish friends back to the bargaining table had anything to do with it.

At this point I have zero faith in the NC and zero faith in the company. Our only hope is the mediator and the RLA process

I disagree on the part about the NC. I think what they lack is the ability to apply urgency and real external pressures on the company. While we wait for the labor market to apply the amount of pressure to the process that we need to get this deal done we as a pilot group could be doing more on our part.
I don't think we are as unified as we probably need to be to apply the full force of leverage that we actually would have if we were unified. If we could we would have been done with this last summer.
How we get there is the million dollar question.

The Alpa lawyers said absolutely not. It could be seen as interfering with normal hiring operations. I get it and the MEC really wanted to do it but it's not going to happen.
Blame the railway labor act.
