Contract aside, what's wrong with wishing we could have a company where pilots were welcome at corporate parties. Sort of like old southwest management. Management is not in my future. I worry about your future. When you spend all your time on APC with such negativity, I don't think any contract will make you happy. Please post something positive and prove me wrong. Sadly we are nowhere close to that being a reality without a contract that recognizes the accomplishments of ALL pilots, not ones who play the ukelele for passengers. Being that the relationship is so poor right now, its disheartening to see an ALPA committee chair attending this function. Wrong time, wrong place. As for JL and his little guitar, just toolish behavior. Running around in the video with Spirit sunglasses on, proclaiming how much of a "blast" he is having, like a 9th grader invited to prom. Clearly a nominee for TOTD. |
This company is an embarassment at everything they attempt. This over the top presentation trying to create a non existent corporate culture is yet another example.

Does anybody know the results of the employee survey we had last year?? I'm wondering how many "high Five" events management thinks we need to have in order to not have the most abysmal survey results in corporate history next time. BTW I posted this on my back up iPad. I went bat$#!t and destroyed my other one after I saw the Vimeo.

They can try to put on a big show and a happy face on this place all they want but it doesn't change the reality of this ridiculous clown show circus of a company. |

You are absolutely right. They make it look like everyone is happy and this place is nothing but fun for all. Just shows what a huge disconnect there is between the true frontline employees and the employees that work in corporate.

This is dead on. I have not met anybody that actually comes into contact with our customers that doesn't think this this place is a complete joke. The folks that work in Mirimar are truly detached from reality,... It's really kind of surreal. My guess is they really don't care as long as it continues to rain money.

Check your emails! Company is sending out Yellow Ukulele for all crew members to take to work. Plus the "Emergency Ukulele" behind the captains seat where the jump seat use to be located. We're getting training on "How to play the Ukulele for tips" via the distance learning system on our iPads! That's the "New" economic proposal from the company. Zero cost pay increases for all crew members!! High Five with four down!

And....there's info on how to stop paying your ALPA dues, win company awards and then lie on a public forum and say you're in good standing with your dues at Spirit when you're NOT! SUPER HIGH FIVE!!!! |
