Anyone know why October bids are still open an hour after they were supposed to close?

And they think they can manage PBS?

I am not showing it open, I am showing it already has awarded my line for next month.

Must have just closed. Mine doesn't show anything for October now, not even the bid package.

Yea I just check it again, and now Oct is now where to be seen. Lol. And the company want to try and run PBS. They can't even get the bid right, or the seniority list.

I never saw an award, but it would have allowed me to place a bid at 13:10 EDT.

PBS would be managed by a 3rd party, same as FLICA.

Haha, the first award it showed I didn't get what I wanted and now it shows that I did get it. Soooo what did I actually get?

Am I the only one that thinks it's absolutely absurd that DOT doesn't open until the 26th?

Why? They are actually following the contract and the language on when the schedule has to be processed as it goes through the steps.

No, I completely agree with you. Having said that it is spelled out in the current contract how we run the bids, and the company is in compliance. Actually there is a few things in our current contract that we as pilots are trying to get changed, a few of these would be:
Pay-scales, retirement, STD, LTD, Scope, DOT opening on the 26th,
(I hope you get the point.)
