Spirit of NKS, part V
 

Well I think part IV was pretty much about done, so the chapter of Spirit continues with part V.

Anyone hear anything about it this big announcement that is supposed to be made Monday by the company?

Probably announce how they are thankful for record A14 and even though they cant afford to pay us, they will be recieving huge bonuses.


They also will remind you that they cant afford more than a paltry $60 million in “retro” yet they have $400,000,000.00 available for stock buybacks.

You know.......like the time they spent $200 mil on the stock when it was almost worth twice what it is now.

The company is so desperate to fill new hire class seats that they are starting to interview via Skype! Stay away from this dumpster fire. I've been here 10 years, the last two of which I was hopeful we'd get a fair contract. I've come to my senses and am looking to leave this place in the past ASAP.

big announcement on the Allegiant threads on monday too! supposedly selling off the airline portion and separating the travel agency part. Since they are teamsters, might work out great if we staple them to the bottom, take their pay rates ONLY (in the interim) and negotiate our bada$$ joint contract! :D (then the NMB will say we can go up 40% from those rates) All sunshine and rainbows

This is the most optimistic post I’ve ever read on the Spirit thread. I’m glad to see some of us still have a sense of humor.

unfortunately, since we have alpa and they have teamsters we will be stapled.....that's what alpa is good for
