Gone to Go Air in India

BusterBust 11-28-2017 07:14 AM

One HUGE step forward for this pilot group.

Planepirate 11-28-2017 07:19 AM

I cried when I heard the news. Tears of joy.

BusterBust 11-28-2017 07:28 AM

I cry for the pilots of GoAir in India. They have no idea about the incompetence coming their way.

UNSUBSCRIBE 11-28-2017 07:30 AM

Bob & Bendo next hopefully

Qotsaautopilot 11-28-2017 07:49 AM

He’s in for a big surprise if he thinks we are entitled babies. I’ve heard from one of our own that used to do airbus training around different parts of the world that Indian FOs are the worst. Because of the caste system anyone with any money to become a pilot comes from an extremely wealthy family and this could very well be their first job ever. Not first flying job but first job. This guy told me they would just not show up in the middle of training because they had something else they wanted to do.

I don’t know this first hand but sounds plausible.

Affect on us getting a ratifiable contract? Zero is my guess

Effect on my blood pressure? Priceless.

I'm not very familiar with Spirit and the role he played in your negotiations, but if his departure is anything like Babbit's departure at SWA, this is a very good sign towards a potential upcoming TA. Wishful thinking for you guys. Good luck!

I'd reserve my excitement until it's announced who's replacing him.

If you wonder why, think about who Bob placed as head of scheduling. If you don't know, reach out to the MEC and ask their opinion of said individual and his "fly it and grieve it" stance and his continued violation of our contract. Are any of you aware we currently have 2400 open grievances?

There is a strong possibility we will get someone much worse and more loathing of labor than Jyri ever was.

Have a great week.:D

I agree, I'm ecstatic that he is leaving. But yes, who is replacing him. I have seen it go both ways at my other airlines.

You don't think they will just end up leaving RR in there?

Acehole 11-28-2017 12:15 PM

I'm going to have to change my profile. Not complaining though, good riddance. That guy was a cancer to the pilot group.

Beans 11-28-2017 12:29 PM

I would be partially optimistic. Now that Bendo is gone they will offer Allegiant plus 5% instead of plus 3%, work rules still gutted.

Dude Spirit is getting PBS like it or not. Look at the poll feedback. Union is pushing it done deal. PBS will gut the work rules period. Pull your head out your a$$ and realize whats slapping you in the face.

Tranquility 11-28-2017 07:22 PM

Urinal leaves and Beans becomes overly active again... What’s the relation?

Hmmm... Back to your roots I see. You've returned to the Spirit forums. Just a week or so ago, you weakly tried to masquerade as a SWA pilot. Now you're back, claiming to know all about Spirit pilot polls in regard to PBS? Earlier today you were harassing F9 pilots out of the blue. You're all over the place "dude." Mods need to work a little harder to clean this place up.

Beans, I agree, we gave up a lot of work rules in these negotiations and now with PBS, we are going to give up more. What I was referring to with you is your statement of “Bendo” leaving.
Now you go pull your head out of your a$$.

Oh really? I’ve only been in the industry for over 20 years and been through this 3 other times. Thanks for reminding me😉

Thanks... than perhaps with your extensive experience we should let the group vote without coming to foregone conclusions about PBS

Brother I quoted the wrong line... my apologies... that was meant for the PBS is a foregone conclusion line...so actually I’m agreeing with you

I worked at Spirit in the past. Spirit and Frontier are similar models. Do the math as to my airline now. So is one not allowed to post on different forums. You are a blind fool to think that on an open forum one only has the rite to post on his current employeer. You want to cry to your mommy now?

Please. How does you supposedly working at Spirit in the past equate to what airline you supposedly work at now? Yeah, you might feel you have the "right" to spew your drivel wherever you like. Just don't act so surprised when you get called out for your BS. Carry on.

I’m pretty sure when he says he worked “at” Spirit he means “for” Spirit. As in anti-labor counsel. And now he’s over on the Frontier board doing the same. But I don’t know much about the new math so...

Well bud you have every right to dissagree with my anticipation of what is going to go down. Up to this point I and other “trolls” have been spot on. The group stated absolutely no loss of work rules in new TA. They are gutted in proposal. The group stated heck no to PBS as a non starter. Now the union and most pilots welcome it. I stated the hourly rates would be 20% behind other similar main line rates. They are well below that in current proposal form. So instead of calling a group of us truth tellers “trolls” take some time to realize that what ive stated is happening. Some time the bear in the room in starring you in the eyes and you just dont see him.
