Aye or Nay Poll - Actual Numbers

While sipping my morning coffee, I decided to do some simple research into the user posts to determine what is actually going on with this poll.

I only analyzed the No votes. I made four groups - Spirit pilots, not spirit pilots, undetermined, zero post counts.

Of the yes voters:
Spirit Pilots - 53
Not Spirit Pilots - 43
Undetermined - 11
Zero Post Counts - 11

Lots of non spirit pilots representing from:
Frontier, Hawaiian, Delta, Fedex, American, Southwest, Alegiant, UPS, Jetblue, Alaskan, Virgin, United, and various regionals.

Frontier and Delta pilots tied for most non-spirit votes in our poll.

If we figure the ratio of only the obvious pilots, 55% are spirit pilots, we can add 12 votes from the zero count and undetermined numbers.

Actual APC Aye or Nay:

Aye - 52 or 44%
Nay - 65 or 56%

Quick and dirty for the future: subtract 45% from the No votes

Again, I didnt analyze the yes votes. I dont think other airline pilots would have an hidden agenda to put in a yes vote.

First you have too much time on your hands. Enjoy now because you will be working more soon. Second do not look at yesers because there is obviously nothing to see there- i do not have time to do it. You should have extra catagory for me, nk pilot that can not vote. That will help form data to fit naritive.

Lol. This whole entire time you have been blabbing and you cant even vote?

No wonder you are so ****ed off. Wonder what your vote would be if you were a middle of the pack CA (no need to reply,)

I found there to be a lot of no voters on this website. Many uneducated on the facts of the TA and sharing emotional opinions. On the line, most I have talked to are voting yes. That being said, all of them are underwhelmed with the TA as a whole. My guess is 75% yes 25% no give or take 5%.

Enjoy the free time you have to do your poll *anal*yzing the no votes because after ratification you won't have the time to do stuff like this.....

Work more because of rescheduling language right? You know they can do that to you now right? Under the current contract. How often do they do it to you?

For some reason I can’t edit my original post, but it should read:

Of the no voters:
Spirit Pilots - 53
Not Spirit Pilots - 43
Undetermined - 11
Zero Post Counts - 11

PBS will determine who will be kicking and crying. I’m so thankful I’m senior enough to avoid redeye inefficient pairings coming your way.

Most of raise gets taken back by PBS, rest will go to buying LTD and buying flowers for girlfriend since I will not be home much. At least I will not be dropping reserve days.

I await your personal, non TA attack.

The raise gets taken back by pbs??? I must have missed that. So do we go back to current contract rates with pbs or is it something else? I thought we made 72 hours a month with or without pbs. Oh.....I get it...... the gravy will be gone, got it.

Don't understand the PBS comment, but LTD has an optional buy up based on your previous years W2, and at the road show it was like max $92/month to buy up to $15,000/month. And it's way better than our current plan.

The reserve thing is a bummer. Gotta agree there. So many other huge gains though.

13 days off a month is the same it is now. 4 days between pairings is the same. Keep spinning all you want. So the same amount of days off with lots of extra money.. what are you gonna do with it? Your on first year pay, going to jump to north of 100K this year..from us yes voters... you're welcome

His raise may be taken back by PBS. He probably has a “special relationship” with crew Scheduling and that will not benefit him under the TA. With the raise, elimination of transition, PBS, and the X/Y list (which will be transparent), his deals for all that WDO and MUP will be gone. In the end he will be forced to bid a line and fly it, then go home and enjoy his days off without worrying about the phone ringing, and make the same (probably more) money.
