I didn't realize the new contract had passed.

I guess I didn't look closely enough but looks like March transitions have already reverted over to the "new contract" language... Got a two day slapped onto my 4 day transition when I was planning on the whole thing being dropped.

Poppachubby 02-20-2018 10:15 AM

that better get fixed! they clearly stated at the road show that March would be unchanged even if ratified. maybe is still in the "works", I'm not showing a final yet.

Did the two day trip add occur in the “new” month? If so, I’m almost positive this can happen under the current agreement. I’ve had reserve days added. Good times as a commuter....

TrojanCMH 02-20-2018 10:24 AM

The transition options on the second or third page of the bid packet said it was going to be run according to new contract and I just didn’t read it. Look in Flica in the March bid packet, it’s right there.

Yes it did but I’ve never had them add some random trip on the back side of a 4 day. They always just TX2 drop the new month trip.

It’s been there since 2010. When it says new contract that’s what they are referring too.

It’s a little scary people don’t even know what’s in the current contract.

I feel like an idiot. You’re right. In all the years they’ve never done that to me and screwed me with a trip. Then I read the “new contract” and automatically thought WTF.

I get it. They’ve never done it to me personally but they’ve always been able to.

Not an idiot man...this shows you how flimsy transition is if they want to put effort into it. They have always been to lazy to add extra trips, but as you see, its that easy to make it less "great" than what we think it is

a2cbus 02-20-2018 11:49 AM

Always too lazy.... maybe I’ve had some bad luck, more times than not they’ve built me back to six days.

IwasInverted 02-20-2018 02:14 PM

It looks like my credit was adjusted for my dropped transition trip, I know that isn’t normal

FLYBOYMATTHEW 02-20-2018 02:33 PM

So, we still have folks that don't understand the way the 7+ year old contract works, yet everyone seems to have the weeks old T.A. all figured out. You clearly haven't read the current CBA, attended a road show, or even bothered to watch the videos or listen to the Q&A. This post sadly demonstrates how ignorant some folks are on the critical issues at hand.

hayimcow 02-20-2018 02:37 PM

I have RAP instead of TXR and it’s blocking a trade I’m trying to submit.

That's quite the stretch there FlyBoy.

FLYBOYMATTHEW 02-20-2018 03:30 PM

Really? Because that language is published in every monthly bid pack, and the question regarding March transition has been addressed in every road show. I am not picking on you specifically, unfortunately, I think there are many that haven't educated themselves on the basics. The NO voters get labeled as uneducated, yet how many of the YES voters don't even know what they don't know?

I’ve had a transition conflict every other month for the past 2 years, I know the current contract, my March is not correct on flica, maybe it’s a computer problem but TX2 does not normally remove credit.

FLYBOYMATTHEW 02-20-2018 04:03 PM

Could be an error, I can't see why your credit would be reduced. Mine shows correctly with no reduction in credit with 5 TX2s. I'd call crew planning or crew pay to get an answer.

symbian simian 02-20-2018 04:18 PM

I guess my experience has been different. Not a dedicated conflict bidder, but at least half the time I would get something added to the transition drop. I've had 29/7 conflict just replaced by lower block trips with the same footprint, reserve days added after drop aso.

I do believe you’ll have to wait for DoT to make that change.

GP

IwasInverted 02-20-2018 04:38 PM

It some error because my credit is reduced by 18 hours but the dropped trip was worth 22

Squeaky banana 02-20-2018 10:31 PM

Where are you finding credit? Flica? It's a readily known fact that flica credit is not correct... An I wrong?

Yeah look at your pay report on the RA website. Flica is always wrong. Side note: hopefully when we go to PBS we will have accurate vacation and sick banks. Maybe even correct pay credit readily viewable.
